Community cream tea

Bible study and prayer

Fellowship group: This term we as a parish are going to follow a five-week course Creation Care: a Christian Approach which will be in St Andrew's Church on Monday evenings, starting on 4 October.

Up to now we have been meeting fortnightly via Zoom for Bible study, learning more about our faith and praying together.

Time to Pray: Prayer for St Andrew's, our parish and our community: third Sundays (6.00-6.30pm).  We have just started meeting again in the STAC next to the church, having met online for many months.

Faith Group:  This is a daytime group, giving older people  chance to explore the Christian faith.  If you would like to know more, contact Margery (862534).

Children

From time to time we organise special children's events; we have held a popular Easter crafts session for some years.  We have a group for children during the Sunday service in term-time.

There is also a Toddler Group in the Cumnor Parish Centre on Wednesdays in term-time, 9-11am.

Botley Bridges provides activities and support for young children and families in the area.

Community events

We enjoy inviting our community to join us for special events.
The large photo at the top of the page shows a community cream tea at
St Andrew's.

We also support the activities of the Dean Court Community
Centre
in
Pinnocks Way, including carol-singing on Pinnocks
Green and the recent DCCC 5th birthday celebrations.

We regularly collect food for the Community Emergency Foodbank, and organise special collections at Christmas and Harvest, helped by Cumnor Primary School.  Our next major collection will be on 3 October, for Harvest Festival. See what to bring.
