Community cream tea

Bible study and prayer

During Lent 2022 we are meeting via Zoom for prayer, for Ukraine and our church, on Wednesdays at 7.30.

Earlier we as a parish followed a five-week course Creation Care: a Christian Approach,  based on a course by the John Ray Institute and TEAR Fund.  From donations at the course we sent £60 each to the two organisations.

Group meeting for fellowship

From time to time we organise special children's events; we have held a popular Easter crafts session for some years.  We hope to arrange a jubilee-themed family craft session during the jubilee celebrations in Pinnocks Way on 5 June

See Home page.

There is also a Toddler Group in the Cumnor Parish Centre on Wednesdays in term-time, 9-11am.

Botley Bridges provides activities and support for young children and families in the area.

Community events

We enjoy inviting our community to join us for special events.
The large photo at the top of the page shows a community cream tea at
St Andrew's.

We also support the activities of the Dean Court Community
Pinnocks Way )where we are meeting while the church is being rebuilt). They include carol-singing on Pinnocks Green (left), for which church members usually provide the music..

We regularly collect food for the Community Emergency Foodbank, and organise special collections at Christmas and Harvest, helped by Cumnor Primary School.
